About Us

The Band Room ATL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the people who power Atlanta’s music industry—on stage, in the studio, and behind the scenes. We provide essential resources like emergency financial assistance, legal support, mental health referrals, and community programs that keep our creative workforce stable and thriving.

We believe Atlanta’s music scene is only as strong as the people who make it. That’s why we advocate for better infrastructure, greater access, and real support—because the folks behind the sound deserve to be heard, housed, and helped.

Whether you're a musician, engineer, tour crew member, teacher, or promoter—this space is for you.

The Atlanta Music Industry Census

The Atlanta Musicians' Census is a research initiative created to better understand the real challenges faced by music industry professionals in our city. Your anonymous responses help shape programs for financial assistance, healthcare access, legal support, and more. Whether you're a performer, engineer, manager, or creative, your voice matters.

Take 5 minutes. Help change the future of Atlanta’s music community.
