Safe & Sound is a rent, mortgage, and utility assistance program designed specifically for music industry professionals in Fulton County. Whether you’re a musician, producer, engineer, event staff member, promoter, manager, or part of the broader music ecosystem, this program was created to help you stay housed, supported, and connected to resources.
At this time, applications for Safe & Sound are currently closed. Funding for the program has been fully allocated, and we are not accepting new applications right now.
We understand the unique challenges of working in the music industry, where income can be inconsistent and emergencies can quickly turn into crises. Safe & Sound was created to provide direct relief to the people who help make Atlanta’s music scene possible.
Who Safe & Sound Serves
When funding is available, applicants must generally meet the following criteria:

Must be a Fulton County resident

Must actively work in the music industry, including performers, managers, sound engineers, producers, promoters, venue staff, and other music-related professionals

Must be facing financial hardship related to housing or utility payments
-
Must be open to participating in financial literacy education

When funding is available, assistance may include:
